Emmanuel Macron is a French politician who has served as the President of France since May 14, 2017. He was born on December 21, 1977. Before his presidency, Macron was the Minister of Economy, Industry, and Digital Affairs from 2014 to 2016. He founded the political movement La République En Marche! (LREM) in 2016, which promotes a centrist platform and aims to bridge the traditional left-right divide in French politics. Macron’s presidency has been characterized by efforts to implement economic reforms, manage immigration and security issues, and navigate France’s role in the European Union and global affairs.
