Human Rights

Human rights are the fundamental rights and freedoms that belong to every person, regardless of nationality, sex, ethnicity, religion, or any other status. They are based on principles of dignity, equality, and respect and are often enshrined in law and international agreements. Human rights encompass a wide range of protections, including the right to life and liberty, freedom of expression, freedom from torture and inhumane treatment, the right to work and education, and the right to participate in cultural and political life. These rights are universal and inalienable, meaning they cannot be taken away or denied, and they are meant to ensure that all individuals can live free from oppression and discrimination. The concept of human rights has evolved over time and is expressed in various national and international documents, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations in 1948.
